As for the PvE skills,I'd personally prefer to see only the ability to bring one.
They're all elite caliber skills anyway.

The second I log back into the game I see Americans and Europeans arguing, Euros belittling Americans and Americans calling everyone jews and such. Please undo the territory change. Things were fine before.

and really who cares, would you rather them make the skills weak as a hell through nerfs, or just limit you to 3?
Also i hope the use option one for glad points, its alot more time friendly, i might be willing to go for ranks in it if i didnt have to waste time getting streaks.
|
I never meant in the mini-games. But it is known that once you get far enough in the boxing game, you get a pair of knuckles to use outside of the ring, and a slew of boxing skills to go with them so you can box the Great Destroyer to death .
I am very happy about reconnects being back though. I'm just not keen on the arbitrary limit of PvE-only skills.

As of right now I only see this as a way to merge two dying English dominant servers.

I'm actually enjoying visiting Spanish Euro distircts. I think people are probably abusing the ability to change servers, but I find it to be a valuable learning/interaction tool. It's kinda obnoxious if you can't speak the language at all (I'd be okay with it if it was a garbled, but honest attempt to communicate) to spam/grief. Here's to hoping people grow up.
On a side note, can't wait for the preview weekend to start.

The EULA has been amended. I think Sections 5(a) & (b) and 6(a) have new clauses, or at least they emphasized certain portions with Caps Lock. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I do not recall these clauses being there before. Perhaps they were only capitalized for emphasis.
To summarize: NcSoft reserves the right to fully terminate your account, or remove content if a chargeback is issued for additional content, and charges for all aditional content is payable in advance. No refunds without permission from NcSoft. It also looks like a new clause was added under content that says they have the right, but not obligation, to remove player-added content, without notice. This would include, but not limit to, TexMod, etc.

It's nice that the U.S./Euro population has been condensed. Maybe now that'll help take care of the cricket problem in some towns.

I'm pretty sure the chargeback section was added to clarify a while back, when people were having issues with additional charges when ordering through the online store.
It's been so long since I last read the EULA, however, I've no idea what's been added or amended.

Nice update. The Glad title change reduced my faction cap by 15K, and I lost all the faction I had over 20K. Sweet. Thats what I get for complaining about no faction sinks, a 15K punch in the faction.

Awesome Anet, just awesome. Finally an updated that helps Australian players. Now we don't need to be a people divided by territories that aren't even our own. Thank you for taking territory changes out and add this new feature, finally I don't need two accounts just to rally some aussie or New Zealand guildies....
Serious I love you guys sooo much for that right now.

It just seems like alot of work for nothing at all, since the International district was already there.

Though the problem was, that international districts were rarely used except for trading in the capital cities.
Imagine this: An european player wants to do a mission, but at this time (lets assume it is 3. a.m. ^^) he can't find any other player to pug with.
So he move to an american district and find some people there, which should not be a problem at all because it's fairly populated due to another time zone.
That is one advantage i can imagine.
The other question is: Why should anybody join a PUG if he/she has heroes? :P

Could be a possible reference to the "Ebon Vanguard"? Onyx is always connected to the element of earth. At least I do...

so what if PvE skills are unbalanced? Its not like youre going to see a mursaat or naga post on GWG about Critical Agility being overpowered.*
wasnt the whole point with PvE only skills that they could be unbalanced?
Why have all of these PvE skills if we will be limited in their use?
Why grind 10 MILLION faction for kurz skills alone if youre not going to be able to use it along with a SS res and a few GWEN PVe skills?
* paraphrased from a quote I saw somewhere from unknown poster.
